Owners and office building managers may establish cooperation with the building service provider in two possible ways. One consists in taking over the telecommunication infrastructure construction and external connection costs by the provider. Building owners decide on such a solution because of large savings it generates. The guaranty of carrying out the investment by a company specialising in the field, which knows the needs of the building Tenants perfectly, as well as its Clients' needs is very important. The safest date to start cooperation in this business model is about seven months before opening a facility. It ensures the time needed to prepare and approve telecommunication network design projects, cable ducts, telecommunication connections and the realisation itself, in which the building service provider builds the entire infrastructure as one of subcontractors, cooperating closely with the General Contractor. Realising this at the construction stage is comfortable because in this way additional construction works do not need to be performed on the already existing building.

The other model is based on using an infrastructure already created by the Owner. The building service provider leases the existing telecommunication network, additionally taking over maintenance service. This solution does not exclude technical support and consultations during the construction stage when designers may provide opinions on projects of telecommunication networks and communicate their guidelines based on experience gained at other venues. Establishing cooperation using this model about 5 months before opening a facility enables the company to get to know the infrastructure design projects prepared by the investor's designers and provide advice. It also provides time for direct contact with the building Tenants in order to make them familiar with the service offer and makes it possible to conclude a contract at a moment enabling starting of service provision in a timely fashion.
